Back to rustic seems to be trending these days, especially with Fixer Upper rebooted with a focus on the home decor and design. I love the looks on the show and Joanna uses a mix of reclaimed wood farmhouse dining tables pairs with traditional dining chairs. He choice of lighting always completes the look.
The farmhouse style is one that tells a story. Each piece has a history and the ensemble together is an amalgamation of different paths merging into one.
What makes it modern is the occasional use of new materials, sometimes adding a industrial touch with steel or the fresh wall color palette of sage and other light blue green tones.
