To be honest, I never got really excited about dining room decor until I started watching Fixer Upper. Somehow, Joanna has managed to create a distinct style in the simplest of rooms that is both clean, refreshing and cozy at the same time.

Farmhouse and rustic aside, I want my dining chairs to be comfortable, functional and ideally not too expensive especially since they are the most likely to get destroyed from wear and tear and foods stains.
Joanna seems to always find the perfect rugs for all her looks on Fixer Upper. Finding the perfect rug is an under appreciated aspect of decorating a room. It is usually the last piece to be selected, it can make or break a room and it is incredibly frustrating to shop for rugs that are both good quality and affordable.
